Welcome to Orcas Swim Club. By accessing our website, using our facilities, or participating in any club activities, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Membership & Registration
​
1.1. All swimmers must complete the club registration process and provide accurate, up-to-date personal information.
1.2. Membership fees must be paid in full by the specified deadlines. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of membership.
1.3. Parents/guardians must complete consent and medical forms for swimmers under 18.

2. Training Sessions & Attendance
​
2.1. Swimmers are expected to arrive on time, with appropriate swim gear and equipment.
2.2. Coaches may adjust training sessions, schedules, or groups based on ability, performance, or safety considerations.
2.3. Missed sessions are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

3. Safety & Conduct
​
3.1. All swimmers must follow coaches’ instructions and pool safety rules at all times.
3.2. Unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from sessions or termination of membership.
3.3. Orcas Swim Club is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

4. Health & Medical Responsibility
​
4.1. Members must disclose any relevant medical conditions that could affect participation.
4.2. Swimmers participate at their own risk.
4.3. If a swimmer becomes ill or injured during a session, coaches may stop their participation for safety reasons.

5. Events, Competitions & Travel
​
5.1. Participation in events or competitions may require additional fees.
5.2. The club reserves the right to select swimmers for competitions based on readiness, attendance, and performance.
5.3. Parents/guardians are responsible for transport unless otherwise arranged.

6. Payments & Refunds
​
6.1. Fees for memberships, merchandise, and events must be paid through the club’s approved payment methods.
6.2. Refunds are only provided in cases of program cancellation or exceptional circumstances, at the club’s discretion.
6.3. Late payments may incur penalties.

7. Website Use & Online Shop
​
7.1. All content on the Orcas Swim Club website—including images, text, and logos—is the property of the club and may not be reproduced without permission.
7.2. Product descriptions and pricing in the online shop are subject to change without notice.
7.3. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis; stock availability is not guaranteed.

8. Privacy & Data Protection
​
8.1. Personal information is collected only for club administration and communication.
8.2. Your data will not be shared with third parties except when required for operational or legal purposes.
8.3. Members may request correction or deletion of their information at any time.

9. Liability
9.1. Orcas Swim Club, its coaches, and representatives are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from participation in any club activity.
9.2. Members assume all risks associated with swimming, training, and competition.

10. Amendments

10.1. Orcas Swim Club may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
10.2. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated terms.
